Julie Chen Moonves is the host of the Big Brother's 22nd season that premiered on CBS on August 5, 2018. Chen Moonves served as the moderator and one of the first hosts of The Talk. She won the Daytime Emmy Award for her work. Her true passion was when she began writing and received an Emmy. Her outstanding talk show also earned the host an Emmy. The Talk is a show which analyzes current affairs by having five host. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS Newsthe weekday morning show The Early Show in 2002 and 2010 before becoming host of the talk show. Before that she was the CBS Morning News anchor and the host for The Early Show. She was dispatched to Cairo following the 9/11 attacks and gave an intense and thrilling discussion with the father who was the primary hijacker. Chen Moonves is a journalist who has worked alongside newsmakers such as former New York City City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Queen Rania and the former Defense Secretary William Cohen and Denzel Washington. Chen Moonves reported on the Emmy award-winning CBS Sunday Morning program. She interviewed celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis, Betty White, Jamie Foxx Scarlett Johansson, Katie Holmes Matthew McConaughey Brooks, Robert deNiro and Jennifer Lopez. She worked as a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the news affiliate of CBS in the late 1990s, as well as an office assistant for ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991) during her senior year at University of Southern California. The desk was hers in ABC News' Nightline program alongside Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel remains as one of her journalist idols. Chen Moonves worked with Koppel on the Columbia du-Pont-winning show on primetime, Anatomy of a Riot, which examined the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
